Coleco Telstar Arcade problem

I got two new paddles today to hook up to the paddle connectors which allows four players on cartridge 2. When the reset button didn't work I opened it and checked the reset button. Now the steering wheel doesn't work. The car stays at the top of the screen and barely moves down. I think I will clean the pot for it after then I don't know what to do. does anyone have the instructions for all four cartridges? I learned the hard way cartridge 2 pong games don't use reset and when you want to start a new game you have to turn it off and then on again.

Got it fixes. You need to move the gear shift to 2 for four players and hit the button on the gun side to start a new game.
