I think it would be more fair to call it Channel F revision 2 than Channel F system 2. Detachable controllers, sound through RF instead of built-in speaker, then I can't recall which other changes were made but to most part the same system IIRC.

I needed to look this up to make sure, but the Fairchild Channel F II was a redesign by Zircon, which purchased the rights to the system at the end of the 1970s. I had a Fairchild... once... but I can't for the life of me remember which version it was I had.

And you haven't looked at the European clones. Some are great, some are butt-ugly....

I've got one, but no idea if it works. Its a revision of the first like a slim ps2 or 360s. An update, but the same system.
