How many different DOS discs were there?

Although I have no info to back me up, I'd bet the Atari 8-bit line had more DOS types, versions and hacked variations than any other computer ever. I hazard a guess that I've encountered several dozen different DOS's myself, and I'm sure I've missed some.

Long John's Dos probably. Not sure if there was ever a 2.5 compatible one.

To do entire disk sector copies it's better to use a dedicated program.

I have a number of DOS variants including a "DOS 2.5f" that says "Modified by L J Silver"

In the same archive, there are variants called "DOS 2.6f" and "DOS 2.8f."
