playermissile
Approaching the end of the hiatus here! I'll have a new episode out this month, and hope to return to a (somewhat) regular schedule. In the pipeline: Episode 21: May 1982 [????: a surprise game!] Episode 22: June 1982, Galahad and the Holy Grail Episode 23: July 1982, theme music special* Episode 24: August 1982: some sort of C64 comparison episode as this was our rival's release date I'd really like to do some sort of survey of game themes, but I'll need help to do it. Ideally, it would be music of games from 1982 and earlier, so if you have ideas for games, let me know. Even better, if you can send me audio clips of the music from those games, it would improve the odds of this actually happening.

Bill Lange
Stuart Smith's classic 1981 release Ali Baba And The Forty Thieves, an early hack and slash dungeon crawl, has theme music, though, it is short and repetitive after awhile.
RevEng
There are 2 Atari 8-bit theme songs stuck in my ear to this day. The first is the M.U.L.E theme, but sadly it's from 1983. Fortunately the second one, Preppie!, is from 1982.

+therealbountybob
Enjoyed the new epsisode Rob. I wouldn't worry about too much I editing. I for one enjoy the content and a few hard edits and mistakes etc would be fine especially if you can then do more episodes As usual I like the detail on how games are done, I think you are in your element when you get into discussing this
