Place Logo Here
I have been trying to record video of every Astrocade game I can find, especially the weird and obscure Basic titles. My video capture chain is Astrocade -> VCR -> DVD Recorder -> Handbrake on iMac -> iMovie. I have six hours captured so far, so this playlist will be growing considerably as I keep processing these: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwZNXSNZ0iCrVGm4RUZ2PrPCVPyXxmdQs
ubersaurus
Nice. I've grabbed some footage myself that I've got on my channel. My setup is Bally (or other old system) to RF demodulator, demodulator to Framemeister, Framemeister to elgato capture card. I don't have a huge number of videos because I've had other things going on, but feel free to link them into your playlist if you need to. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyc8fVmDdmpDndAK8XplDW1Wto8W0E5sN

So you have a Fairchild Channel F? Ugh--I am jealous: that is the last system I am looking for. What is your demodulator? I don't have one, which is why I used the VCR. I halfway considered shelling out for a BlackMagic demodulator, but that is too much money for a hobby.
ubersaurus
I use this one: http://www.ambery.com/prrfcotocovi1.htmlit was also kind of pricey but I figured around the time I had already bought the Framemeister (because I really wanted that 60 fps on youtube) I may as well go all in. The results are pretty sound too, so I can't complain. I'm still looking for an APF-1000 myself - the hunt never ends!
BassGuitari
Eh, I gave up on the APF. Even in malfunctioning condition, prices are ridiculous on them...when you can even find them at all, that is.The games are basically like lo-res TRS-80 Color games anyway. Hey, that's how I felt about the Bally, and then a boxed one fell into my lap on Craigslist at a really good price! I figure if I'm patient long enough one will turn up that I am willing to pay for. It's the only North American 2nd gen console I don't have, so...
Place Logo Here
Currently up to 111 videos. I couldn't find a video anybody had done so far for Dragon's Castle, so I put up a whole hour of playing it. Made it to a point in the game where something special happened, but I am not entirely sure what it is. Also not sure how much of the game I have completed.
