Jackel192
if you were trapped in hell and you had to choose between Ghosts n goblins or desert bus, which would you choose to play? for eternity. and no, you can't use game genie
Good_Times
G n' G, hands down. Desert Bus isn't even a game, it's a Penn & Teller prank/troll.
Neo 64
Ghosts and goblins. It would be a challenge to play, unlike desert bus which I would be bored to death. Edited September 14, 2017 by Neo
NE146
G&G.. I have always loved that game since the arcades.. not that I was any good at it.
DJ Clae
Is this a joke? Ghosts 'n Goblins is a good game.
dj_convoy
No one is going to say Desert Bus. Ghosts 'n' Goblins is merely frustrating' Desert Bus isn't really a game.

+save2600
The Intellivision version of Desert Bus looks to be more of a game. The Deserter Bus portion of it anyway. https://atariage.com/forums/topic/257823-desert-bus-official-ordering-thread/
BassGuitari
Ghosts 'N' Goblins. Playing for eternity, I might get good enough to actually get somewhere in that game.

mbd30
I dunno, man. Desert Bus would be more relaxing to play for eternity.
CatPix
hmmmmm. Some versions might make Desert Bus be more attractive... but that msuic... I think I'd go with G'n'G anyway.
Jackel192
okay, so instead of desert bus, how about 1942 for nes?

Tanooki
Ghosts n Goblins, not even a flinch on that. I used to be able to roll the arcade version of that game over 20 years ago so I know it's a hard but totally do-able task. Desert bus, might as well be thrown under it, then backed over repeatedly. adamchevy
I just purchased Ghost n Goblins for the third time. I keep selling it and rebuying it because I hate and love it. This time I'm keeping it until I beat it. The cycle has got to stop, it feels like hell. Edited September 15, 2017 by adamchevy
BawesomeBurf
Desert Bus was an unfunny idea that didn't need to be made into a game. Ghosts N Goblins would be my choice.

enoofu
Don't think its that hard, since hard arcade games like DoDonPachi make this game look easy Edited September 15, 2017 by enoofu
HoshiChiri
Desert Bus was an unfunny idea that didn't need to be made into a game. Ghosts N Goblins would be my choice. It was never intended to be funny. It was a direct response to comments made by Janet Reno about the evils of videogames, and why didn't they teach useful skills instead? So, they made a game designed to teach you to do a mundane task. I'd still pick Ghost N Goblins. A true hell would combine the two, somehow. 'Drive through this ultra-long creepy cemetery! Don't hit the rocks/tombstone bits on the road, or you'll lose a tire and have to start over!'
+Black_Tiger
GnG is one of my favorite games that never gets old and defines the sound of an arcade for me.
Asaki
Ghosts 'N' Goblins. Playing for eternity, I might get good enough to actually get somewhere in that game. That's exactly what I was thinking @_@ okay, so instead of desert bus, how about 1942 for nes? Here's the REAL Hell: You have to choose 1942 or Xevious, and you cannot turn down the volume no matter how hard you try.
BassGuitari
You know, everybody knocks Xevious on the NES, but I think it's pretty decent. Although, to be fair, I haven't played a whole lot of it--I mostly play it on the Atari 7800 and Apple II (I also have the Commodore 64 version, which IIRC is actually, somehow, kind of terrible).Ooh...Ghosts 'N' Goblins for Commodore 64! Tanooki
They do? I didn't think there was much of anything wrong with that old game as it's early but it's fun.
