Lord Thag #1 Posted September 16, 2017 (edited) So I lucked out on a mint condition Operation Kursk today, and figured I'd dump it since Atarimania and Fandal's sites do not have a disk image. Alas, the disk shows as completely missing about 10 sectors, and will not boot. After digging around, I see that remowilliams dumped a copy of the disk at the Atari 8 Preservation project, but I do not see an atr/atx anywhere. Anyone have a link to an image? I'd love to give this one a spin, I never had a chance to play it back in the day. Edited September 16, 2017 by Lord Thag
DjayBee #2 Posted September 16, 2017 If you mean Objective Kursk then have a look at the attachment. If you really mean Operation Kursk then please post your dump and some information about the bad sectors. Lord Thag #3 Posted September 16, 2017 (edited) Thanks for the link, but I meant Objective: Kursk by SSI. I have a nice minty copy, but the disk dump to ATR says sectors 91 through 108 are missing, and as such, the disk doesn't boot. Thanks for the files, I will enjoy them! Here's the file I dumped if anyone is interested. Objective Kursk Side A.ATR Edited September 16, 2017 by Lord Thag
DjayBee #4 Posted September 16, 2017 (edited) Just FYI: Your dump is the same version. For completeness: a8preservation does not host any images but the ATX is part of the torrent which belongs to a8preservation. I attached the original dumps below. You always can find the latest torrent in this thread. Search from the last page upwards. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/234684-atari-8-bit-software-preservation-initiative/ Objective - Kursk (1984)(SSI)(US).zip Edited September 16, 2017 by DjayBee
