Video Command - with seperate fire button Quick Shot 2 button joystick - Gosh, it looks just like the Archer above. Competition Pro Slik Stik Atari Pro? - I think this came bundled with the Atari 7800 system. I believe this came with the Atari 2600 TRON game - Manufactured by Champ? Champ Joystick - The cable unwinds to about 15 feet or so. This is just a few of the joysticks I've collected over the years - I'll upload more images as I get around to taking shots of them. PeBo Posted September 19, 2017 Share Posted September 19, 2017 I have a slikstik I got with a "buy em all or buy none" joystick deal on craigslist last year (along with a good condition Atari heavy sixer, 2 standard Atari CX10's, 2 quick shot 2's, a WICO command control, and my absolute favourite Recoton (sortof like an CX10, but MUCH sturdier and with a giant red button inside a yellow ring) Craigslist is the way to go in you live in or near a major city for generic stuff like DB9 joysticks or PC parts. Always much cheaper than eBay, and you get the purchase security of meeting up with the seller in person. I think my box of joysticks was $30 or $40 bucks (and of course the shipping was a couple of subway token to meet-up and return home). Worst case is a few bucks in gas. Gotta be quick though, I missed out on a megaSTe last week for waiting too long (the bloody ad was up for a month, I thought I had time). But I did use part of the money I had been saving for it for the MBX so not a total loss. It's been a long time, so why not? Why not? Because whoever it was in these forums who described those TI original joysticks as crampsticks was frighteningly accurate! Mercy, those things are ergonomic nightmares. If TI ever patented these, please please please somebody make sure they renew that patent into perpetuity so that no-one will ever commit crimes against human digits like that again. I have added a remote fire button to them which has added to their usefulness, at least for me. I bought at least one entire lot on Ebay once just to get another working 500XJ in the arsenal, and they're still my go-to stick. Still like the Slik Stik, too.
