Cannot pick up a herb in "Feud"

Hi all,

I'm trying to beat Feud (Bulldog Software, 1987). As mentioned in a comment at Atarimania, one cannot pick up "Knap Weed", used for the Lightning spell. Does anybody have a fixed version that allows to use such herb?

BTW, it is featured as herb "24" in Mapy´s map ► http://mapy.atari8.info/f-k/feud.png

Just for clarification, "mapy" is not a person's name, it's just how they say "maps" in Polish language

Yes, I'd seen that review before too. Apparently all versions are crippled in some way compared to the Spectrum and Amstrad versions.

 

I haven't played this version myself, but it claims to be a "fixed" one. Maybe you can check it out and see what may have been fixed.

Does anybody know how to turn off the background music? I found a video with only SFX -so there seems to be a way to do it.
