The dimensions are on the companies web site. I can post a link id you like when I get home. I have one so I can answer additional questions if you have them. Im using it for MAME play but you can drop it right into a cabinet.

I have a Tank Stick. I didn't build a full cabinet, but I built a pedestal for it. The main reason I did it this way was because I needed a functional solution quickly, and that's exactly what I got. My full MAME cabinet took me about 25x longer to build than this thing, at probably double the cost.

I have the DualStick, had it for years not one complaint. Need the TankStick for a new project. That & the Playstation 2 adapter will be the costliest part of my project. Im getting an empty Arabian cabinet to install it on.

Yeah Soul, I found the dimensions there. Thx!

(In Futurama Farnsworth voice):

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!

My order has shipped & expected this Friday! I ordered Monday- that is, put the 2 needed items in my cart but didnt complete it. Got an email the next day prompting me to complete my order, with 10% off as an incentive! That paid for most of the shipping!post-1754-0-79386000-1507163806_thumb.png

Yeah, the shipping for mine was very quick, and great customer service. The website is very detailed and had files and walkthroughs I needed to get my stick running in MAME.

The extra buttons and twin joysticks are great, but the trackball is worth the extra money. It's just amazing!

Soul do they suggest ever cleaning the trakball?

Not that I recall seeing in the instructions or the website outside of the occasional 'gently wash with a damn towel' trick, It wouldn't be easy to get out either, it's REALLY in there. :)

Do I have to damn the towel myself or have a priest do it?

:) :) :)

BTW the TankStick is in town!!!

Heh. That's what I get for trying to type out a quick reply on my phone at work. :)

If you already have the earlier model of the X-Arcade TankStick then you know how to get it running and all that. The only other difference with the trackball model is the pinball buttons on the sides. You also use those by default to insert credits and go back to the main menu of MAME if your not using a front end.

The DualStick has the side buttons as well.

I use it on an arcade cabinet so the credit option changes from disc to disc.

This TankStick is a thing of beauty! I misjudged its size so I'll need a plan B.

Soul I must've got an updated manual, there's a whole page dedicated to cleaning the trackball, including careful removal.

Although earlier in my manual, they refer to the Wii as the Revolution.

Yeah, I bought mine back in Feb. Good to know they provide instructions. Like I said, the support and help files the company offers is really great.

Well here's the latest, the trackball was fine out of the box but stopped working for me after a few plays. Then I find out it was finicky with a Playstation 2 even in the testing phase. Wish I'd have known that before my purchase.

It works as a mouse on our laptop, & worked on my PS2 immediately afterward, but now not working again

Sorry, RJ, I've not bought any of the console hookups for my Tankstick, I just use it for MAME.

BTW, did you say that you were playing Activision Anthology on the PS2?

Pardon my ignorance, but what would one do with a trackball on a PS2?

Atari Anthology has 4 games that use the ball- Centipede, Millipede, Crystal Castles, Liberator.

Any PS2 game that has mouse support can use the ball. I know Myst III & Half Life have mouse support
