WTB Androbot B.O.B. / TOPO / FRED

Seeing what's out there since this is AtariAge. Considering an Androbot Topo/B.O.B.

One of the robots who got me into Automation, I've wanted one since I was a kid.

Project would be ok if reasonably priced, clean and complete would be preferred. Working, would be killer.

I'll email Curt. That ABS production Shell looks interesting would be easy enough to make a base and some functionality with modern parts for it.

Yup.

 

Getting a partial refund on shipping too. He has 4 or 5 more.

 

Makes for a nice conversation piece. Maybe I'll mod a bunch of sensors / screens etc. into it.

Nope, I sent a Best Offer with a question about shipping and it all worked out well.

 

It's only sitting there temporarily, the blue light behind it is actually a custom made Atari neon sign my wife had made for me ages ago.

So glad to see Topo being appreciated. I'd actually been sitting on that ebay link for a few days/week. I sincerely hope they all find appreciative homes.

I have a TOPO that I am considering selling. I have replaced the batteries, put new balance rollers and repaired an LED board. It is operational.
