Garbled voice synth in TI Scramble using 32K Sidecar

Any one else had this problem? just got my 32K sidecar, hooked it up to try it out and everything works EXCEPT, TI Scramble has garbled/muffled voice synth. The synth still works fine with other games, and when i was using my original PEB 32K Scramble voice worked fine no problem. Is this a known issue with the 32K sidecar?

There should not be any issue. Is the 32k board properly powered?

 

Unless you've modded the speech synthesizer, you need to supply power. It may seem to work without it, but that is an accident.
