0078265317 #26 Posted October 20, 2017 Yes except super turrican and some powerfull games glitch. But I don't have that game and its expensive on ebay. Like super mario world beginning levels before the first bridge. I killed that orange looking thing and got the yellow feather which gave me the yellow cape. But after I get the feather the game pauses for 3 seconds before he turns into cape Mario. Probably not a glitch. I think the original model did this also. And the picture is much brighter. 0078265317 #27 Posted October 20, 2017 Here is my original. What should I start the bid at? Its yellow on the bottom and 1 small chip on the top right next to t he controller ports. And the issues with my tristar. Either bad or dirty cartridge slot. So probably not worth much. http://mvvg.blogspot.com/2017/10/yellow-super-nintendo.html
LutzfromOz #28 Posted October 21, 2017 (edited) would have been better off picking up the real McCoy with a snes flashcart, or a raspberry pi with a super nes or nes shell for it, to play your public domain homebrew snes games of course Edited October 21, 2017 by LutzfromOz

Tanooki #32 Posted October 21, 2017 I don't think that NES toploader ever went over into the PAL areas either did it? Nintendo kind of screwed the 50hz TV crew.

0078265317 #34 Posted October 21, 2017 And I tried the generic ac adapter. Works great. So do the controllers. Actually maybe even better than my official ones. One official does not even work. Start button does not work.

Probably though given the size of the market back then to make it worthwhile.
keepdreamin #36 Posted October 22, 2017 There's no mystery about the AC adapter. Flip the SNES jr over and the sticker tells you which model to use: "SNS-002". Flip the old larger SNES over and it also tells you what AC adapter to use....."SNS-002"
0078265317 #37 Posted October 23, 2017 Ok, thanks. So what should I start the bidding at for the fat yellow super nintendo I have.
0078265317 #38 Posted October 26, 2017 I am going to keep the fat super Nintendo for now. I found another problem. Game genie does not work on the JR. Only works on the original. I also found this rf adapter long time ago. It hooks into video port on back. So JR can work with rf now since it has none. Picture looks pretty good. http://mvvg.blogspot.com/2017/10/rf-adapter-for-nintendo.html
