jjh76
A local game shop has a boxed copy of K.C. Munchkin (don't know if it has the instructions) for $25. Is this a reasonable price for this game? Is it a fun game? Should I go and buy an Odyssey 2 just so I can play it???
BillyHW
It was a good clone of Pac-Man at the time. Much better than Atari's own 2600 Pac-Man.
+atari2600land
$25 is too much for a loose KC Munchkin. You can do better on eBay.
Flojomojo
It's my favorite O2 game, along with Pick Axe Pete. Both hold up well. Neither are worth getting a system for since they're fine in emulation. If you haven't ever played this, start here: https://archive.org/details/K.C._Munchkin_1982_Philips_US
jjh76
Eh, emulation is fine and all, but in the last year I've gotten a bit obsessed with running games on the original hardware. So I went and bought a boxed O2 off ebay for $45. Also found a KC cart for $1 When it gets here - if it works - that will make it system #18 in my collection
Flojomojo
$1 is a more sensible price for KC than $25.
HawkMines
Congrats on getting an Odyssey 2! $25 is insane for KC Munchkin. I'm glad you got one for a reasonable price.
