New Jaguar Games Available for Pre-Ordering!

Recommended Posts

We've just added three new Atari Jaguar games to the AtariAge Store for pre-ordering, Jeff Minter Classics, Escape 2042, and AstroStorm. These new games were available for the first time at the recent 2017 Portland Retro Gaming Expo, and we're now making them available for everyone!

Click on the following game images to learn more about each game (including video and screenshots):

For those interested, we've also added three new Atari 2600 games as well, Super Cobra Arcade, Space Cactus Canyon, and Draconian:

All six new games feature high-quality, professionally printed boxes, manuals and labels. Draconian, Super Cobra Arcade and Jeff Minter Classics include a poster featuring the box art for each game (and the Jeff Minter Classics poster is double-sided!)

Pre-ordering for these games will run through the end of November. Games will ship in early December and should arrive in time for Christmas for anyone inside the United States.

Hope these are around for a while after the pre-sale and into 2018; could only afford to grab two of the Jag games and Draconian at this time. Cant wait!

I'm really glad to hear this... because I just had roof repairs for both my home here in Texas, and the one in Florida (post Hurricane)... so it's going to be a bit...

Thanks!!!

It would be nice to see some reviews and/or videos posted. I'm considering buying them, but not until I have more info.

... but almost none. I just looked: at the Minter store page, there's _one_ very brief review, and one quick video that is more glitzy than informative. Not very helpful in making a purchase decision.

The other two releases are also very lacking on details.

Despite the retro craze, I wouldn't count on finding a wealth of videos and reviews on new Jaguar stuff. Being into a system like this though, you gotta be used to that by now. All three AA store releases are worth it if you're lookin' for somethin' fun to play on your Jaguar.

You not think that is guys on this side of the pond should start to pool our resources and place orders together.

That way we can share any postage and customs charges. Then all we need to do is send the games to each other over here. The dost of that postage could easily be paypalled to each other.

That being said my Minter cart arrived to no charges at all.

What are the other two games like?

Cheers

Mine still look like this:

The customs amount ot much higher value in Slovenia, but they don't kick in very often. It looks like they get more eager at the end of the year, if the "plans" are not met... Anyway it's always 22% of the value + 12€ or so for shipping and handling (yes, the Post has to mail that to customs, nevermind that they're in the same building).
