Felyx
Any CD version planned as I don't need to pay a lot for a cartridge?
+CyranoJ
"Font by RAPTOR" lol. The specific reason I defaulted to that font was because it's so ugly people would change it. Oh well.
Atari Dogs
So has this been officially completed and released?

WAVE 1 GAMES
Couldn't keep my pants on so recorded this from a video someone sent me (tvm you know who you are). https://youtu.be/1H-gZ_eRlqM Think "Abbott and Costello meet Dracula" if it was directed by Ed Wood. That's an old build. I will post a video here soon. Thought I already told you that?
+madman
This is just a precursor to the next WAVE 1 GAMES game that will be the ultimate Jaguar game of all time. JEFFREY JOHNSON (THATS HIS NAME NOBODY ELSE) said so himself: If anyone can make a game better than Tempest 2000 it is JEFFREY JOHNSON of WAVE 1 GAMES (NO COMPARISONS THAT IS ANNOYING).
Welshworrier
That's an old build. I will post a video here soon. Thought I already told you that?Oddly enough the video had a photo included that showed a slightly different story. So 2 weeks ago it was the nearly final build. Which is it then?
+Stephen
If he fixed that hit detection it could be decent, I reckon. But since it's already been released... Don't bother with this line of reasoning. Plenty of decent chaps have suggested this, and even tried to help. Modus Operandi is to release as much shit as quickly as possible, with as little effort as possible, taking no bug reports or suggestions into account.

Felyx
Beware if you are in Europe as eBay charges import taxes: My son liked the demo a lot but sorry I don't have almost $100 for that game as moreover start of school is approaching and will be the priority for my budget... Hopefully there will be a CD version and that it can be shipped as gift to avoid those tax import. Maybe for Christmas in CD?

Felyx
Why not? previous games released by Wave1 were in CD so why not this one?
Swansea_Mariner
A question for those technically minded: The zombies gets really pixelated close up, is that due to the jags limitations and what we see is the best it can do or are the art assets just not good enough for the close ups?
Zerosquare
Neither. The Jag can do better, and the prerendered assets posted before in this topic have a high-enough resolution to avoid pixelation. So it's option 3: lack of attention to detail. Felyx
JagZombies is now available for Jag CD also on eBay: It is cool to see that game released and it is a cool attention that the cartridge and the CD are bloody red It feeds a gap in the Jaguar games as so far we didn't have any shooter game like Operation Wolf. Shamus
We still don't have any shooter game like Operation Wolf.
+CyranoJ
Would anyone like me to port Operation Wolf? That could be quite nice, especially with mouse controls. There's always Beast Busters if we want a good horror/zombie/monster gun game? Yes/No ?
Shamus
Why not both?
Lost Dragon
No doubting the potential for ST ports in this genre to the Jaguar: New Predator film upcoming reminded me of this on the ST also: Edited August 18, 2018 by Lost Dragon
+CyranoJ
Yeah, Wolf, Thunderbolt and Beast Busters are some of the better ones. There's also Space Gun.
Lost Dragon
Great shout on Space Gun. Another era shooter: Die Hard II took the Operation Wolf clone approach also, never played it myself.

Lost Dragon
Genuine gameplay question: What's the deal with the Wolf/Hellhound head that appears on side of the screen?. Shambling Zombies appear to be despatched easily enough at long range with a well placed shot or 2... But in the video clip, the player appears to pump a good few rounds into the Wolf at point blank range and it just disappears off screen, no blood splatter etc. I would ask if it hounds you throughout the game, but that's an awful pun.
