Jumpman1981
Cashing in on people's nostalgia for the game, that's all. It'll probably suck anyway, all films based on games have, except Wreck-It Ralph and maybe Pixels. RamrodHare
After watching the trailer, I'm interested. Like other people have said, the monsters should have been mutated people, but I'm not going to be picky about it. I'm just hoping that it doesn't end badly for George. MrMaddog
So...San Andreas with giant monsters. Was hoping it'll have the same outlandish humor as the games (especially World Tour), but having the guy who plays Negan running ScummLabs also works... +Atari_Warlord
I'll end up watching this, but the trailer didn't really grab me. The new Jumanji trailer on the other hand really made me want to see it, although I didn't really care for the original.
+LS650
That actually looks entertaining in a mindless sort of way... except for Negan the gov'mint schemer man.
+KaeruYojimbo
I was really hoping for more humor considering the source. A Rampage movie should be more like Ghostbusters with giant monsters. This looks like it's just Kong Kong with The Rock.
Inky
The creators of Rampage are very happy with the movie and how it turned out, and that's all I need to hear.
mbd30
How about a Punch-Out movie? Shia LaBeouf as Little Mac. Brock Lesnar in his film debut as Mr. Dream.
Tanooki
Problem is Lil Mac wins, do you want Shia ever to win in life? Have him be Glass Joe or Gabby Jay, then I'm in.
mbd30
Okay, then how about Tobey Maguire as Little Mac? It's the part he was born to play.
Pixelboy
Okay, then how about Tobey Maguire as Little Mac? It's the part he was born to play. Maguire is a little too old for the part, I think. I'd pick Zac Efron for the part of Little Mac, especially if you take the Wii version as visual reference.
Tanooki
I think we have a winner, and if the movie starts out like the old days with a short cartoon ahead, I nominate a special episode of the Mike Tyson's Mysteries.
crazydean
How about a Punch-Out movie? Shia LaBeouf as Little Mac. Brock Lesnar in his film debut as Mr. Dream. Mike Tyson is still kicking around. Why not just let him reprise his role?
Pixelboy
Mike Tyson is still kicking around. Why not just let him reprise his role? Nah, he's going to chew an ear off Little Mac, then there will be actual fighting on the set, the lawyers will step in, the director will walk off into the sunset, and Nintendo will shut the whole movie down via its own lawyers. frank_c
A Dwayne Johnson movie every six months is way too much Dwayne Johnson. Pass.
Classic Pac
The trailer looks horrible
TPA5
Cashing in on people's nostalgia for the game, that's all. It'll probably suck anyway, all films based on games have, except Wreck-It Ralph and maybe Pixels. Pixels? ...Pixels? Actually, Pixels? Man, that movie was heinous. It is the definition of 'suck'. This movie is just a monster movie, and there's nothing wrong with that. The technology has changed, but the core of this movie isn't a whole lot different than the Godzilla movies of yore. And as an actor Dwayne Johnson is one of the few Hollyw$$d stars I can stomach watching. I'll probs see this one when it hits rental. Maybe in theaters, if I have the inclination.
