New Facebook group S. Ontario users

Started a group,

 

Southern Ontario Atari users (Homage to HBO and TAF) on facebook.

 

We are looking to have a meetup end of January.

 

Invite anyone you know local in the area to the group. Social is fun.

Great idea! I was involved with the HBO (Hamilton Burlington Oakville Atari Users Group) from 1982 to about the time it finally expired.

Sounds great but I doubt I'll be able to make it. If it was a little closer like London I might be able to make it but I really don't like travelling too far on the 401 in the winter, especially the GTA.

Great idea! Here's hoping that someone who has the TAF A8 disks will chime in. I contacted the remnants of TAF about a decade ago, and the 'librarian' claimed that he had them at that time. It'd be a shame if all of that went to waste.

 

This is pure selfishness on my part, but let me know if you plan to have year-end get-togethers in the future. I'll typically be in Toronto around mid-December (this year, from the 15th to the 17th), and can time my trips to attend.

Wow, nice I was involved from about 1982 to 1990. Several other members are around too!

So did the planned meeting take place? If not, how about crashing TPUG's "World of Commodore" event the first weekend of December? I'll be in town.
