Skippy B. Coyote
Just like the title says, I'm looking for a new in box CX-80 trackball for the misses. I picked up one new in box from a fellow AtariAger about this time last year for $45 shipped and have really enjoyed it, so I'd like to get a second one for the spousal unit so we can get in on some two player Centipede TB action on the 7800. I'm looking to pay about the same as last time, $45 shipped to the zip code 55102, and I don't care about the condition of the box as long as it's still sealed. The box can be dented in, torn, or in any other sort of cruddy condition as long as the trackball inside is still new. Thanks much and feel free to shoot me PM if you have one that you'd like to sell.
Shawn
Not gonna happen anymore at that price cause the NOS supply is now gone. Check ebay for going rates but prepare yourself.

Check ebay for going rates but prepare yourself. This new in box CX-80 sold for $19.99 shipped on October 1st: https://www.ebay.com/itm/322797925424 These 4 new in box CX-80s each sold for $26.50 shipped on September 15th: https://www.ebay.com/itm/322746914008 Clearly they are still available, and I'm offering around double what those sold for so I don't think it's unreasonable to imagine I could find one new in box for my asking price since I'm not concerned about the condition of the box. Cool. They started to creep way up in price after word got out that the NOS pile was gone.

Once Best Electronics and B&C ComputerVisions ran out a couple years ago there have been people trying to peddle trackballs for crazy prices on eBay, and sometimes succeeding now and again, but I've noticed that ones with ratty condition boxes have stayed pretty affordable in terms of what they actually sell for so that's what I'm after. NISMOPC
CX-20 work for you? Not new (not mine), but in box. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Atari-Trak-Ball-Controller-for-Atari-2600-Atari-HomeComputer-Vcs-CX-22-in-Box/322912373838?hash=item4b2f13cc4e:g:gB0AAOSwEOpaH2vK

Unfortunately though my spouse has some mobility limitations and the buttons on the CX-22 are too small and recessed for her to press comfortably. I suppose I could always let her use my CX-80 and use a CX-22, but I'd rather hold out to see if I can get a matching set of CX-80s. Thanks anyway though!
