ParanoidLittleMan #2 Posted December 6, 2017 Actually, the rule is to remove disk before powering off computer, and put in after power on. In case of shipping it is matter of mechanic - but no problem for it when no disk in drive. If it is in, may damage floppy - not much chance, but may. So, for shipping too - no floppy in drive.
