Jinks #26 Posted December 14, 2017 Ouya II at best, Coleco Chameleon II at worst. Don't know how or why anyone could possibly be excited about a $60 Android/Linux box with a licensed Atari logo. Tacos?
+frankodragon #27 Posted December 14, 2017 Tacos are something real and you can touch, hold and smell. Plus they're edible. The Atacobox...uh..... errr...Can anyone smell renders?
AtariLeaf #28 Posted December 14, 2017 Vaporware vs tacos - you always choose tacos
SignGuy81 #29 Posted December 14, 2017 The wait and see and what is an Ataribox are somewhat redundant. I don't think it is redundant, as "Wait and see" is for people who know what it is(well as much info has been given) and "What is an Ataribox" is for people who are new and haven't even heard of it yet. RamrodHare #30 Posted December 14, 2017 I've never been one to buy into something without knowing what it is and what it does. So far, I've seen nothing that makes me even remotely interested. Financially, I can't afford it, even if it were something I wanted. "IF" it turns out to be a video game system of some kind, it won't be very high on my list of things to purchase. The way things are going right now, I'm probably going to have to sell my Vader and my 7800 just to make it through this month. Naturally, I choose Tacos. Financially Fucked. Maybe will sell some stuff as well. Maybe give up video games by next month. Lots of changes..

The Mr. Video #33 Posted December 14, 2017 In a decision between the Ataribox and Tacos, I'd pick the tacos.
Schizophretard #34 Posted December 14, 2017 I voted no because I want better renders.
+sixersfan105 #35 Posted December 14, 2017 They need to show me actual games and a controller first before I can buy into this thing, advertising real wood is not a sales pitch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The official Ataribox Facebook page released photos of the joystick last month. https://m.facebook.com/atariboxofficial/#!/atariboxofficial/ I agree that seeing this thing actually running with games, etc. would be a plus! Jinks #36 Posted December 14, 2017 1 button. Looks cheap. Failure. They should see if they can get a job part time on a taco stand.

I cannot believe that is the controller for modern games it has to be for the retro side. They still need to show the controller for the modern games no way one button can be for new games. Flojomojo #40 Posted December 14, 2017 I'm saving my response until after December 14th. I don't want to waste my vote on "wait and see" but I'm going to wait and see. They picked the date. They waited until the day they chose to say the dog ate their homework and they weren't ready to even start their sales pitch. A person would have to be a very special kind of nostalgia-addled fool to give them any money, if and when they get their sorry crowdfunding ass in gear.
Skippy B. Coyote #41 Posted December 14, 2017 My patience and capacity for optimism are certainly being tested. This whole campaign definitely has a "We're a low budget company who has never made a game console before" kinda feel, which is not encouraging.
+Nathan Strum #42 Posted December 14, 2017 I'm perfectly happy with my choice in the poll - I'm having tacos for dinner tonight.
