palmheads #1 Posted December 19, 2017 Was looking at potential game port ideas that could fit into the 4K mini memory (ie like the original Gridrunner for the Vic 20 - 3.5k). Lots of people rave about Doubleback for the Coco. Its about 4k (6809), looks like a simple game with surprising depth. Anyone have any memories of playing it?
+OLD CS1 #2 Posted December 19, 2017 Never played it (we never expanded our CoCo3 past the connection to the TV) but it does look fun and challenging.
JamesD #3 Posted December 19, 2017 It's a fun game, but definitely easier to play with analog joysticks
+chue #4 Posted December 19, 2017 Looks cool, it even has an Omega reference!
JamesD #5 Posted December 19, 2017 I think the docs refer to those as horseshoes
Vorticon #6 Posted December 20, 2017 Very original for sure. I think the trickiest part will be to come up with a compact and efficient routine to check for objects inside a closed loop.
+save2600 #7 Posted December 20, 2017 Looks like something that might be fun with a Koala pad or Super Sketch.
