Recommended Posts

True

We've been alot busy since January and many projects/release has been postponed

Although, this is defintely going to happen

Good to hear. Thanks. Looking forward to getting my hands on a boxed copy of Sacred Tribe. So which Sydney will be released next for the CV? Caverns of Death or Yucatan Jungle?

We're hoping to finally release Caverns of Death before the end of 2018 :)

It's been a long time since the last update!

Over the last year, I've devided to finally finish Sydney Hunter & The Caverns of Death (Phoenix pack-in game) instead of working on the Sacred Tribe sequel; The Yucatan Jungle

But now it's time to get back working on it again
In fact, I've improved the graphics and I've many ideas for new game mechanics

The Yucatan Jungle is the sequel to Sacred Tribe but it's also the prequel to our upcoming Nintendo Switch game; The Curse of the Mayan

I'll post progress here over the next months
Meanwhile, here's a screenshot of the improved graphics (and HUD)

PS: For those who are wondering. the game will run on a plain vanilla ColecoVision console, you don't need any extra hardware to play it

Stay toon!  :)

Time for a little update!

I've been working on Sydney Hunter & The Yucatan Jungle for the past few weeks
Graphics were tweaked a bit (adding more colors & details)
I'm now ready to design all of the screens in the game

Here's a few screens I've been working on lately

Have you thought about........I don't know........sending this update to the people that funded your project?

I backed this on Kickstarter and never received any communication with this information. I just checked my email, it's working. I checked my Kickstarter account, I don't see anything.

This is a ColecoVision game, it never was on Kickstarter

If you're talking about the NES game; Caverns of Death, wich we're still working on (the programmer is on this forum btw)
You can always contact us by email if you've any concern

Oh, part 2 of Sydney Hunter from Collectorvision is not the same game as the second release of Sydney Hunter from Collectorvision?

I'll take your word for it, you can ignore this. Thanks.

I can understand how people get confused, so no worries

Here's the list of all Sydney Hunter games so far:

- Sydney Hunter & The Shrines of Peril (Intellivision)
- Sydney Hunter & The Caverns of Death (ColecoVision, MSX, SMS, NES, SNES)
- Sydney Hunter & The Sacred Tribe (ColecoVision, Intellivision, MSX, SMS)
- Sydney Hunter & The Yucatan Jungle (ColecoVision, MSX, SMS)
- Sydney Hunter & The Curse of the Mayan (Nintendo Switch, Steam, PS4, PS5, XboxOne, Xbox etc..)

I would love to get all 3 for the SMS. Any plans for Caverns and Sacred Tribe getting additional prints for SMS?

Caverns of Death has not been released yet, everything is ready but we're looking for a bunch of SMS cart shells
That's also why Sacred Tribe has not been re-released
But we're working on this, maybe by getting our very own SMS cartridge mold

This series is my new favorite thing. Curse of The Mayan is phenomenal. Played it all day. Cannot wait for this. It's gorgeous.

I like Shrines of Peril though.....that should totally get a CV release. Even if just digital. It's better than Smurfs

I have to ask....

When are you going to release "The Best of Sydney Hunter". That could be the one where you hold nothing back and design an Arcade Cabinet style box!
