CF7A TI-99HDX PIO cable

Recommended Posts

Hi,

A user here asked me for if I was able to make him a CF7A TI-99HDX PIO cable adaptor. Since it isn't really profitable to make just one I intend to make a small batch of 5 (well 4 since one is reserved for the user who asked me to build him one) I only charge for the parts and shipping.

This will be built on a small pcb made to fit inside a small plastic project box ( don't expect industrial quality please ) or if you prefer I can send it separated from the box and you can fit it in yourself or without the box, your choice.

I expect the parts to be coming in January. I'll update this thread when they're ready.

I have found that this doesn't work with the newer cf7 that includes surface mount chips. it requires a jumper that there's no instructions for the newer design.

Ah, oh well.

I tried to be useful and give back to the community. I'll still make one for the person who asked and see if this work with his CF7. I can use the extra parts for other projects.
