Show us your Box!

Recommended Posts

Post pictures of your shipping boxes! For extra fun, look up the part number that was typically stamped or written on the outside of the box to know what game was shipping inside.

Here are my 4 boxes:

  • Coleco - blue box - Mouse Trap, part # 2479
  • Activision - black box - Pitfall, part # MP-002
  • Bandai - orange box - Tennis, part # 1814 (6765 and 3192J don't map to a game, maybe to the Japanese manual's part number?)
  • Mattel - green box - Night Stalker, part # 5305 (the 3302 doesn't map to a game)

All four boxes:

Other sides that have have something interesting on them. The Coleco box is omitted since it is blank other the other 3 sides.

Below are some of the cardboard manufacturing stamps. Interesting that Mattel choose a weaker rated box design.

Yeah, I thought people on here were crazy for wanting a box for a newly released rom (not even in a physical cartridge format) and now this? I'll play along. Here's a box

I have a bunch of those free USPS flat-rate boxes, and I think I have a few of the Holiday variant from a couple of years ago -- specially branded with Christmas decorations. Those must be very rare! :o

I wonder how much they go for... Time to hit e-Bay!!! Ka-ching!

Here's my box, I'm a one box man. I know what was shipped inside but I'll let you figure it out for yourself.

I'm curious if the other sides of the box are stamped with the same "5303 - 4" numbers.

There are 2 sides stamped and 2 sides not, opposite each other.

I assume the same numbers, correct?

Correct, 5303-4 on both sides. I'm not sure what the -4 means but 5303 is Edit: Xxxxx Xxxxxx of course. (I changed the name to X's).

It's World Cup Soccer. I'm like you, I only own one and use it to store extra games.

Shame! A pox upon me! I forgot to include one of my boxes in the original post (something was telling me that something was wrong, a splinter of the mind).

Anyways, here the Intellivision Inc box, similar to m-crew's box. Mine shipped with 2 copies of Football for Intellivision (2610) and 4 copies of TRON Deadly Discs for Atari (5662). As expected, the Intellivision Inc box is slightly shorter than the Mattel box.

Now I feel bad. I recycled mine a while back, thinking "there's no possible way anyone would want these..."

You have known us this long and thats what went through your head? 😂😂😂
