CoCo 2 + CoCo SDC problem

Hi,

i used the CoCo SDC interface for my Dragons so far and it worked very well.

I've a CoCo 2 as well, so i tried to run the interface with this one.

What i did:

- changed the Dragon DIP switch to off (all switched are "down" now) and removed the jumper from the DRQ pins

- plugged the interface in and ...

... i only got the normal CoCo 2 basic screen.

After that i put the jumper to AUTO and i only got a white screen and nothing happens.

Well, i think, that i should get at least the SDC boot screen ,,,

Who could help?

Thanks.

Well ...

No chance to contact Ed here, 'cause he never replied my PM (he wasn't here since month). I'm not at crappy Facebook and there is no contact adress on his homepage ... so this forum would be my only chance ...

As a point of Clarification, Ed ( Zippster ) only Assembles and Ships the CoCoSDC..

The CoCoSDC was Designed by Darren Atkinson ( http://cocosdc.blogspot.com/), and Daren still does all the Firmware updates.

Hi,

i used the CoCo SDC interface for my Dragons so far and it worked very well.

I've actually been having the opposite problem. I can get the CoCoSDC to work just fine on my CoCos (auto-booting into CoCoSDC Explorer), but can't get it to work on my Tano Dragon. I have switch 1 up and 2, 3, and 4 down, and the DRQ pins jumpered (the Auto is not). My Dragon boots to a green screen with or without an SD card in the slot. Any tips?

Yut666 and BillLoguidice:

You also need to have the Dragon version of SDC-DOS installed on the SDC...

My CoCoSDCs are from Zippster's First Batch, and I don't believe they have the Dragon Version installed...

Thanks. I do have the VDK in the root of the card, but I get a green screen with or without the SD card installed. Are you saying there's something else I need to do?
