Pixelboy
What does that mean ? My guess is smoothing down cartridges anywhere there might be any rough edges and/or extra plastic residue that shouldn't be there but is leftover from manufacturing and molding process. Close but no cigar. There's a little imperfection in the metal mold used to manufacture the casings. This imperfection translates into a tiny bit of plastic in every cart shell that needs to be removed (with my trusty Dremel rotary tool) otherwise the PCB doesn't sit completely flat inside the shell. The job itself does't take very long, but afterwards I have to clean the casings under running water, and leave them to dry for 24 hours. Somewhat tedious, but it's not too bad.

Not sure where the piece is, or the angle but could you use something like this? Might be faster, and no washing necessary. https://www.wirecare.com/interest/industrial/industrial-tools/hot-knives/hkx0.00rd-economy-hand-held-hot-knife-w-bonus-soldering-tip?gclid=CjwKCAiA_c7UBRAjEiwApCZi8e6m5G1YHGm00uf7V71YYsL-sZuqRCH3co3uTQgbVZbgSfQAuisqYRoCyaEQAvD_BwE

rodge2001
That's so awesome to see them all in one set like that. Congratulations. Quite a nice addition to your collection. Well worth the wait indeed. Such a milestone before the next phase of newer games that are to be released.
+nanochess
Wizard of Wor is an incredible adaptation of arcade!!!!!!!! I'm in awe with it. It even makes Colecovision to look like having a higher screen resolution. Big kudos for this one

Pixelboy
Time for an update! I've mostly finished assembling the carts for the second group of people still waiting for their games. I'm just missing a few Ghostbusters PCBs which I should receive in the coming days. I will begin to contact everyone on the list of the second group tomorrow morning. Stay tuned!
Pixelboy
Hi guys. I'm having problems with my PC right now (Windows Update is on the fritz) so order processing is suspended until these issues are resolved. Thanks for your patience. Pixelboy
Wizard of Wor looks and sounds absolutely incredible. Any copies available for sale? Yep. Just send me an e-mail. I'm putting this whole Windows Update business on ice for now (by temporarily deactivating Windows Update altogether on my PC) and I'll resume replying to all my e-mail tonight. Pixelboy
Wow, has it really been almost a month since the last update? Time sure flies! Anyway, I have just under 10 customers from which I'm still waiting for payment. Despite this, I consider the second phase of order processing to be behind me. I'll deal with those remaining customers on a case-per-case basis. After I've finished filling out the tax forms for myself and my mother this week-end, I will turn my attention to assembling cartridges and gluing boxes for the third group of customers who are still waiting for their games. We're already in the middle of April and I consider myself to be behind schedule. The first packages of the third group will likely ship in May only. Can't wait to get this all done.

Pixelboy
I'll be doing my best to finish assembling the last of the cartridges of the third group this week, and gluing the last lot of boxes this Saturday and Sunday. So if all goes well, I should start contacting people early next week.

Pixelboy
I'm currently processing e-mails as quickly as possible, but it's going to take a couple more evenings to get through all of it. If you're waiting for a reply from me, please be patient, I'll reply to all e-mails eventually.
iesposta
Wizard of Wor: I just received my copy. WOW! Spectacular. Perfect sound, video, and game play. And it speaks. (I doubt it has 73 sentences like the original, that would take too much ROM.) I really wasn't expecting the graphics and sound to be arcade-accurate, but they are. I just fell back in love with my Colecovision! And also due to the fact that Donakey Komg is finally within sight - the reason a lot of us bought the SGM in the first place.
Pixelboy
To all whom this may concern, this is my final update in this thread. Most of the people who are part of the third group have been contacted and processed, some are taking a long time to reply to me (a few haven't even replied at all) and I'm confident I'll have all the packages of the third group shipped within the next couple of weeks. There's been a sudden and unusual influx of orders (sales usually go way down in May/June) so I created a fourth group and placed all the recent pre-orders in it. As of this morning, this fourth group is now closed and frozen. I will keep recording pre-orders this summer as I receive them, but I won't be working to manufacture new copies of any Team Pixelboy games before August. Roughly a week from now, I'll post a new Team Pixelboy News Bulletin with the latest news and updates. Thank you.
