VicViper
So i took the plunge and grabbed a Panasonic FS-A1 and a Mega Flash ROM SCC+ cart. I have a 2GB SD card that i formatted in FAT using windows 10, I threw a few ROM and DSK files on the card, and threw it in. According to the quick start guide, Once MultiMente opens, i should be able to just press 2 and load the SD card. But nothing happens. I tried pressing L to Load from drive A, but nothing happens. I can't find the Files anywhere, and the amount of options available in MultiMente is overwhelming. What am i doing wrong?

Same issue first guy had in first post In a nutshell complete lack of information for anybody new to MSX in the so called manual Very poor support in the end i had to 2nd guess and trial error everything hoping i wouldn't fuck it up Edited January 24, 2019 by 256 colors
towmater
Been there. It took me a while to figure out that you can put it in cartridge-mode instead of disk-mode, I finally was able to execute Space Manbow once I stumbled on that feature. +jedimatt42
The docs for the cartridge have a pretty simple summary of MultiMente. The most difficult thing I had to deal with was getting the SD card partitioned into FAT16 chunks... but if I recall there are docs around that related to 'nextor'. There just isn't much MSX activity here, so you need to be looking at MSX.org... In particular, the community supports the mega flash rom SCC+ over here: https://www.msx.org/forum/msx-talk/hardware/big-megaflashrom-scc-sd-topic -M@
