In the second game, Sweden found their game beating Germany soundly 5-1. Here are the current Group C standings: We will begin the last set of games for each group this week with Group A playing Monday, Group B on Tuesday, and Group C on Wednesday... Switzerland is the first to win all their games by edging the Czech Rep 1-0! In the second game, Canada breezed past South Korea 6-1. With that being said, Switzerland finished at the top of the Group A standings and have earned the top seed in the tournament: Tomorrow Group B will finish out their games with USA and Russia most likely playing for first place... USA beats South Korea 5-2. Sweden skates past Slovenia 5-1. Slovakia shuts out Norway 6-0. It seems like since the US/Russia match up, their game hasn't been the same. The fact that they gave up 2 goals to South Korea is a warning that their defense is struggling. I was hoping to see USA, Canada, Finland, and Sweden in the semis. Only two of those teams will remain after today and will probably be the favorite to play in the gold medal game.
