Question about my TV

I use a big color console tv from 1978. (nothing like a woody 300lb tv topped of with a woody heavy 6er) :wink:

 

I got a question... Almost all my games play fine as in showing all the correct colors except pitfall and few others. I can't get the green backround to show up. Instead I get a pinkish and brown. On very very few games I get more red or pink than I should such as frogger.

 

I own like 150 games and on about 10 or so show more red pink.

 

Anyone know what may be the problem?

Try adjusting the settings on the TV?

I've tried that already and all the controls work.

 

I thought these TVs may have some sort of trouble showing showing certian colors or mixing up colors cause my newer Sony TV shows colors like they should, such as a green Pitfall

 

I've never owned one of these until I found it 2 months ago is someones trash so im not familular with these TVs. I know some people here are though.

Maybe that's why they threw away the TV?

 

I think the TV is quite old..so that could be causing the discoloration
