MegaManFan #6 Posted May 31, 2003 I wish I knew the name of this SID; I'd go looking for it.. This was a Commodore 64 game that came on one of those "six in one packs" from Mastertronic, or whatever the name of the company was (same group that made Kikstart and Kikstart 2). All of the other five games were relatively "eh" but the sixth one was the money shot - it was this incredible shooter game with bright colorful graphics and a soundtrack that sounded like Van Halen playing guitar at the beginning of "Hot for Teacher," except it never stopped playing. Oooooh, that was a SID for the ages; damned if I don't know what it is and can't find the disk!
PaulEMoz #7 Posted May 31, 2003 Have a look here and see if the game is listed. I can't find a more comprehensive list of Mastertronic games, but I know there are more than that. http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/company/1976.html
MegaManFan #8 Posted May 31, 2003 Have a look here and see if the game is listed. I can't find a more comprehensive list of Mastertronic games, but I know there are more than that. http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/company/1976.html Holy s#%t Paul, I think this is it! Agent X 2: The Mad Prof's Back As soon as I saw the word "Lemon" in the screenshots, it flashed through my head like a bullet. Now I have to see if there's a SID for it! MegaManFan #9 Posted May 31, 2003 Oh man.. I'm listening to the music from Last Ninja and Adventure Construction Set, and I'm getting chills down my spine. I had forgotten just how good they were. Thank God somebody is archiving and saving this stuff. (Sorry for the double post!)
shaggy #10 Posted June 1, 2003 Oh yes! I remember that game MMF!! I have that 6-in-1 pack. The game was pretty cool from what I remember.
Han #11 Posted June 1, 2003 Rambo loader by M Galway... Only reason to load the game ...
Clock #12 Posted June 1, 2003 Commando, Monty on the Run, Thing on a Spring - Good ol' Rob Hubard, always made the best tunes. Talking of Mastertronic, I beleive they did Last V8 - good tune and I could complete it every time. Problem with 64 Sid though was after you had played 1000+ games (yes I had a huge collection ripped to disk) the tunes all started sounded similar. Also I think a mention should go to Elite auto docking tune (Blue Danube)
V.R #13 Posted June 1, 2003 I always liked the title music from gauntlet, but then again that was an arcade game. Some of the homebrew demos nowadays are awesome, better than some modern video game music. 80's FM chip music was and always will be the best.

MegaManFan #15 Posted June 1, 2003 Found it. Had to search for Agent instead of Agent X but it did come up. I saw the composer landed in the Top 100 for Ghosts'n Goblins.
Bratwurst #16 Posted June 1, 2003 I always thought the loading tune SID for Ocean games was pretty cool.
Cybergoth #17 Posted June 3, 2003 Hi there! Copy & Paste straight outta my "Best" folder: Crazy_Comets.sid Final_Synth_Sample_I.sid Nexion.sid Science_Fighter_1.sid Success_Intro_Music.sid Last_Ninja.sid Gujjka.sid But I assume there's some 9000 I've never ever listened too.
