discgolfer72
haven't tried screws yet, as there's no holes in the "case" just the lid.. Greg I just ran some screws in really didn't need pre done holes I used these I had lying around (just the screws not the inserts) on my final one I'm using I did use a tiny drill bit to pre drill the holes if someone has the version 2 peb and can snap some pics looks like the opening for the power is to big to the right for version 1 peb if I can see a version 2 then I can shrink it some so the opening is not quite so big on the universal case ps my printer seems to have cloned itself bigger lol just built a anet a8 and have an even bigger one on the way now also ( lol I hate having to wait for prints with multiple parts and want to print some larger cosplay stuff)
jonecool
I had some issues with ABS warping pretty bad, but wound up switching to PLA and my print finished about 1 hour ago. I fully assembled it in the NanoPEB (attached to a speech synthesizer) and it worked well. I did remove the sliding clips on the speech synthesizer such that it would fit properly. I have a few SS's, so it wasn't a big deal for me. For others, it may be. But, it worked great! I took some pictures, but not sure how to upload/post them here. jonecool
Ah ha, FireFox let me post but Chrome wasn't allowing it. Here are the pics. from my 3D print I used a drill to create the rest of the holes needed for the screws. I drilled 4, but only assembled 2 screws for now. Thank you so much discgolfer72 for your model!!!! Edited March 19, 2018 by jonecool

Thank you so much discgolfer72 for your model!!!! no problem glad its working for everyone my first printer the mini does not print abs(no heated bed) and have yet to try abs on my new one I guess abs would make for a longer lasting case but pla seems to work fine for me at this point I'm calling the version 1 only case finished for the universal case that will fit v1 or 2 from jonecoool's and arcadeshoppers pics it looks like I need to reduce the opening for the power cable a bit its def to big to the right of the v1 power jack) if someone that has a version 2 peb wants to print the case so I can verify how much smaller in need to make the opening that would be a big help then once I get that one honed in ill pop them up on thingiverse so hopefully everyone can find it if needed now that I have 2 3d printers and a 3rd on the way if anyone needs a case printed I'm willing to print one for cost of materials and shipping

Mitkraft
Finally picked up a 3D printer and this was always high on my list of things to do when I finally got one. I'm still learning all the nuances of 3D printing and learning/dialing-in my printer so my prints aren't quite perfect yet but this is good enough for now and finally gives my Nano some protection so I can leave it connected and not worry about it getting damaged. Thanks @discgolfer72 for making and sharing this design! Edited March 27, 2021 by Mitkraft
