It's 2018 and the era of "TI quandary" has returned.

Remember back in the mid 1980's when the TI was in it's first heyday? Deciding which item to purchase was a major decision, because you couldn't afford to buy EVERYTHING, and if you made the wrong choice, the item you purchased might not be supported if a competing product gained dominance, or you might not be compatible with your buddies.

 

Well... here we are in 2018 and that TI era of quandary is returning. There are so many hardware options for different things 'just over the horizon', and every one of them has good features or reasons to purchase, but which one? Unless your Ksarul, you can't afford to buy everything. So, do you go with the one you think will get the most software support? The most expandable? The one with the most features? The least expensive? The smallest? The coolest? The one with the most customer support? The one that's the most 'hackable'? The one with the most features? Argh!
