Nebulon #1 Posted March 22, 2018 Hot on the heels of I-Robot and quite a bit earlier than S.T.U.N. Runner:
Master Phruby #2 Posted March 23, 2018 That's pretty impressive for the time. Make that front ship a X-wing and you got something there.
tschak909 #3 Posted March 23, 2018 Jed Margolin had talked about that hardware, at length. It was, at the time, the most expensive computer they'd ever made do arcade things. The cost of parts alone would have been over $10,000. -Thom
Flojomojo #4 Posted March 23, 2018 I would have been ham for that back then. I still think flat-shaded polygons look pretty cool, but that's just because I'm old and dumb. If you're like me, you might like Sky Rogue. If you buy it directly from them, you get a Steam key and they get to keep a bit more of your money. I don't work for them, I just think it's cool

I don't work for them, I just think it's cool I'm all about non-textured shaded polygons. They look classy. Bring on Starblade!
MrMaddog #6 Posted April 1, 2018 They also made a prototype of The Last Starfighter arcade game...yes it's just like the movie! But it was scrapped due to being $10,000 to make and all you can do in MAME is fly through a tunnel and get lost going through walls.
Crimefighter #7 Posted April 2, 2018 Grumble - that video is blocked in the United States. You'll have to watch it through --- https://www.proxysite.com/youtube/
