Jed Margolin had talked about that hardware, at length. It was, at the time, the most expensive computer they'd ever made do arcade things. The cost of parts alone would have been over $10,000.

I would have been ham for that back then. I still think flat-shaded polygons look pretty cool, but that's just because I'm old and dumb.

 

If you're like me, you might like Sky Rogue. If you buy it directly from them, you get a Steam key and they get to keep a bit more of your money.

 

I don't work for them, I just think it's cool

I'm all about non-textured shaded polygons. They look classy.

They also made a prototype of The Last Starfighter arcade game...yes it's just like the movie!

 

But it was scrapped due to being $10,000 to make and all you can do in MAME is fly through a tunnel and get lost going through walls.
