cimerians
Finally got an Xbox One X and DOA. No power at all, shipping it back for repairs. Anyone hear about these units having bad power supplies? Manufactures date says Nov. 2017.
Austin
I sure hope not.
Bill Loguidice
Not that I'm aware of. They seem to be quite reliable, like the S's. Bad things happen in big manufacturing runs, though, so there will always be a small percentage of failures. Too bad it happened to you. masschamber
I have seen a few pages refer to issues with the ac cable, https://www.onmsft.com/news/did-your-xbox-one-x-suddenly-stop-working-maybe-its-a-bad-power-cable did you try a different cable? cimerians
Yep tried a different cable pretty much everything, was surprised actually, but like Bill said it can happen. Curious to see if they repair it or they send me another one I have the serial number

cimerians
It took about two weeks but I got it back and it's the same unit same serial number so they basically fixed it. I have this unit and the original Xbox One S and I have to say the increase in speed is much appreciated.
Video
Yeah, any large run will have defects, luckily over all the Xbox one seems to be holding up well at the moment. Granted, anything's better than that apocalyptic disaster of original run 360 consoles.
