Take a stab at it. Wouldn't it bother you not to try? Like an experimental branch off?

 

If it's really the bitch you imagined it to be then abandon that branch and continue with the old engine? 

 

Of course do as you wish but I'm just curious as to what the Lynx could do with a rebuilt engine.

 

Can the Lynx do things like transparencies?

Nope. I am just drawing characters with 50% of pixels transparent. When the character moves the effect is pretty amazing. Due to the animation the character looks really alive when it moves. When it is still it has a shimmering effect. You know it is there, but you cannot see it.
