eightbit
I ordered "I am Setsuna" for the Switch in physical form as I found Square Enix released this in Japan and some other areas as a physical release. I also found that there is an English cover variant which is great. BUT, I also found that Square Enix actually glued the english cover over a sealed Japanese game. So, if you can imagine a sealed copy with the Japanese cover, then they glued the English cover over the sealed copy and sealed it again! I was able to "free" the English cover with a whole lot of patience and now have a perfect English cover release. The game can be played in English obviously or I wouldn't have bothered with this. Here is a video describing what they did and the link from Amazon where I purchased it. Might be useful to someone as if you are not careful you will simply RIP off the English cover just trying to get the game open! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0725CYTMD/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=
Tanooki
That's so bizarre but I could see how it could be the cheaper way about it. Sealed game, place english cover over that, reseal and ship. It does make sense in a screwball way. I've had it since it about came out ordered overseas so mine has no english paper at all which is fine but that's good to know in case someone takes a knife to it. I tend to damage stuff when trying things like this so while this might seem like a silly question I would greatly appreciate any kind of advice. Thanks.
