Montrealer
I'm curious to see what everyone's thoughts are on this.If you were to have a Lynx and just one game, which game would it be? And why? Would you have, say, Batman Returns because the over the top difficulty would ensure the longest play time?

Flojomojo
I like APB All Points Bulletin. If I can have two, please add STUN Runner. These are the games that sold me on the thing in the first place. Great arcade ports that didn't show up anywhere else. Caveman GTA and Wipeout in a giant backlit battery-sucking handheld!
Montrealer
Toki Because it's such a quality platformer? My beef here is that Toki is widely available on other consoles
Jazzoff2000
I'll reserve judgement until I get my copy of Wyvern Tales and Zaku
ZylonBane
Would you have, say, Batman Returns because the over the top difficulty would ensure the longest play time? Apparently soul-grinding tedium is something you look for in your games.

I'm glad you guys caught on. That game is damn hard and not worth anyone's time, really. Wouldn't Chip's Challenge be a solid contender however? It has truckloads of levels to go through. Flojomojo
Chip's Challenge is a real classic. Crystal Mines, too. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystal_Mines_II Note that there are freeware versions of Chip's Challenge which should be played by anyone with enough time on their hands to start "desert island" threads. http://www.muppetlabs.com/~breadbox/software/tworld/README.html

Ninjabba
I re-bought the Lynx specifically for Crystal Mines 2 in 2008. The levels and learning curve are done very well. Never reached the final level, so I guess the challenge is still on after more than 20 years.

+slx
I'd vote for California Games and practice surfing long enough to be able to escape that island If that doesn't work out I'd maybe have enough time and be frustrated enough to finally learn hackysack and BMX.... Chip's challenge and Toki would be next choices as they promise a bit more variety.
Lord Thag
Desert Island game? Probably Battlezone 2000. The base game is pretty fun, but the hidden, 2000 level monster easter egg with upgradable tanks and whatnot that nobody has ever seemed to have gotten very far in would make a great desert island game. Who knows what lies hidden in there? With all that time, maybe I could actually get somewhere in the damned thing.
