Simius
New keyboard mylars for Atari 65/130XE are already available. The mylars are basically intended for the keyboards with the rubber caps (CO70015-002,003,004). The price is $15. You can contact me (from the Europe) or MacRorie (from the US) or find us on ebay.

Fox-1 / mnx
It sure is. I was afraid I had to switch to PS2 solutions to get thing working again but this is better.
Mathy
Hello Simius, guys Are these the single layer or the dual layer mylars? Sincerely Mathy
gilsaluki
Bloody well done, and a VERY nice cost. Almost wish I needed one now. Have a couple XEs in storage, probably need to fire them up and text 'em.

Fox-1 / mnx
Received mine. Really a no-brainer. Remove keyboard screws, open it, put mylar in place, put back the screws, done. A perfect fit.

+DrVenkman
So Marlin (MacRorie) will have these? Cool! I'll have to add one to my next order from him. I've got a 130XE that's got about 3 broken traces on the Mylar last time I looked.
Mathy
Hello Robert Really a no-brainer. Remove keyboard screws, open it, put mylar in place, put back the screws, done. That is if you put the small screws in a place where they can't go very far. Otherwise, ordering (and receiving) a metal detector before opening the computer might not be a bad idea. Fox-1 / mnx
I often had XE keyboards suddenly becoming unresponsive because too many of the screws just fell out. That's what happens when you drag that stuff to parties across Europe over and over again. Never lost a single screw. Always found them somewhere on the PCB. A recipe for disaster that just never seem to happen. Edited April 28, 2018 by Fox-1 / mnx
+tf_hh
Hi, can anybody sent some pictures using this mylars with the screws for the Mitsumi keyboard? Actually I have no plan how to do it, maybe I´m brain-blocked only... Thanks!

juansolo
Another happy customer. I replaced a couple today, one of which had had multiple repairs, so it was lovely to fit brand new ones. Simple job, work perfectly.

suspicious_milk
NICE! I'm ordering a few of these. I don't even need any, all my XE keyboards work, but just for preventative maintenance. Are these higher quality than the originals? They look to be.

manterola
Hi! is there a similar product for the 600XL Keyboard somwhere? Greetings from germany, Jens. Not that I know of. But the brewing academy is considering it. A mylar for 600/800xl type 4 keyboard. It is a very common keyboard, I hope it will happen.
