Clint Thompson
Here are some cool curiosities to check out on the Jag if you have your Skunk locked and loaded: a super early build (possibly the first) of Zzyorxx II from Virtual Experience and a Burnout Preview Demo (for CES?) First and foremost, huge thanks to the National Videogame Museum (http://www.nvmusa.org)-- they were able to locate these disks in their archives and retrieve the data. Check them out in Texas if you're ever out that way, tons of cool stuff to see! Had the pleasure of meeting with John Hardie from NVM in person at JagFest during Midwest Gaming Classic this year, super cool guy. It was really nice of him to bring along several prototypes for display that you may have seen at the event. Second huge thanks goes out to CyranoJ (Lawrence) of http://reboot.atari.org--(Rebooteroids, Xenon II, Last Strike(WIP), etc.) as without his deep diving and Jaguar knowledgebase/expertise, the remains of these files would not be playable today. While he can go into further detail if he likes, about what he had to go through in order to get these things working properly, the short answer is it required a custom boot loader so the Jaguar could execute them into playable form. While not a lot to see and probably less than most are hoping for in regards to Zzyorxx, would appear to be the only known remains to date of Zzyorxx II. Still cool to check out and see running though! Hopefully some of you enjoy what was uncovered and shared here through their efforts. Thanks to both John and Lawrence for your help! PeterG
Thank you to everyone involved. It is always great to see these things pop up after such a long time. I will fire up my Skunkboard first thing tomorrow and check these out.

sh3-rg
Thanks for these - especially that they are released as binaries and not stuck on cartridges and proffited from as objects. This is how it should be done.

Shaggy the Atarian
This was one of those games that I always had hoped would have come to light ala Phear. Too bad there isn't much there but great work Clint, John and CyranoJ!
Lost Dragon
I can only echo what others have already said. A huge debt of thanks goes out to John, Clint and Cyrano J for simply making this happen. I'd once dreamed of seeing Zzyorxx II in something more than a lone static screenshot (in Ultimate Future Games magazine) and no matter how brief the footage/demo may be, just seeing it running is simply wonderful. It is sad that deep down we all know at some point someone no doubt will slap these on cartridge and sell for profit, but that act will do nothing to take the shine of the self less acts done by the aforementioned to see these in the publics hands as binaries.
Zerosquare
Thanks for these! I did a bit of testing: - Virtual Jaguar GIT 20160613 doesn't run either of the ROMs (crash / lockup) - Virtual Jaguar 2.1.2 runs Zzyorxx II fine, but has a lot of graphical issues with Burnout (missing road, missing gradients, some colors are wrong) - Project Tempest 0.95 runs Zzyorxx II fine, runs Burnout better but the road is still missing Zzyorxx II is playable, but there isn't much to do (only the first few enemies are implemented, and your ship is invulnerable). Burnout is not playable ; it's a rolling demo showing the graphic engine, with some promo text for the game. Neither of them seems to have any sound or music. They also expect the system to be in a non-default condition before they would start. Not sure if the old Alpine systems did some odd stuff during init?
