Recommended Posts

Ok here is my Bob D collection so far.

Loose carts. I have Marc O boxes for all of them except Baby obviously.

Thanks PMP for making my 7800 collection amazing with some great games.

:-o They're all Pac-related, you do realize that Bob makes games other than Pac-Man ports, right? ;-)

I guess I should have said “Bob D Pac-Man titles” I have many other titles that he had done. I probably have all but 2-3.

^ There's dupes in there too... must be a combination of small dot versions and pokey enhanced?

Correct- I am not sure exactly what the grey label version is. I got it in a lot that I bought when I first started collecting 7800. It is a very early version. I think it is dated 2009. The blue labels are the later and Pokey versions.

The Jr.s are the same. The top one I got from a member here who was getting out of collecting. I could never get the cart to work. I cleaned it multiple times with no success. It is autographed by Bob so I really wanted to keep it. The seller refunded my money and said to keep it. The other is an AA store version that I bought that works. [emoji6]

Can you still buy boxes for older Bob games??

Marc O still sells them. He sells via email now since his store have never got back online.

You can get his catalogs here
You can send any questions and/or your orders to
Orders@retrogamesshop.com
And tell him I sent you.

Had a blinky red-green-blue board I think was originally in a toy kids wear in their mouth?

Removed the button battery clips and push switch, then jumpered switch and battery contacts (it had 4 in series).

Im taking bets on how long the uncovered EPROM lasts until it corrupts with these RGB LEDs.

Attached picture and GIF animation of it in the 7800 console.

Yes, its annoying, but I really like things that are red, green, and blue!

I still think a weak UV LED to excite a glow-in-the-dark case would be way cool.

Yeah definitely put some black electric tape over the window if you're gonna go UV. Blue or rgb should be safe. EPROMs can sit under bright florescent office lighting for months without corrupting.

Even with a typical cheap 20mA 395nm near UV pointed directly on the window, it would still likely take a few days to corrupt it. A 3w high intensity 365nm uv led from Nichia (like they use for forensic flashlights) or direct sunlight, possibly hours.

Ball stuck on top of bumper! Somehow I bumped the table and got it rolling again.

Kudos to you Bob for making this unique piece of arcade history a reality!?

Edit: Dang my voice sound different now than it used to...
