However, since I was aware of Ayds long before the world was assaulted with AIDS, I don't find it particularly funny at all. My parents actually tried to lose weight with Ayds in the 1950s—almost 40 years before the identification of AIDS. My mother was also a nurse who worked with nurse aides. I have enjoyed various and sundry fruity ades from childhood. All of us have employed visual aids of infinite variety to augment our explanations.
