Action! Versions?

Recommended Posts

I am pretty sure there are a few versions of Action! programing language. Small bug fix version changes, is .01, .02, etc. What are they? What cartridge colors do have (orange, gray/black). What version does Atarimania have, and should they not have all the versions?

Enter the monitor by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+M. I believe to display the version number it's '? $B000' (without the quotes). The version is the hex value of a single byte. $36 for version 3.6.

Any version other than 3.6 is probably very rare.

Sorry, but I might have the command or location wrong. It's been a long while.

Very interesting!!

I might be time to do a call out to see what versions are out there in AtariAge.

Mine is Ver 3.6, as check by notes above. I can see that it has 2 Action! stickers. One is the small one that is just on the front face. Then the large one that goes over the top and to the back is over it. So this one is probably one that was sent in and upgraded by OSS to ver 3.6

Anyone have one of the black case carts? That might be a different version.

I have another working cart with Roms I'm not sure how to read in my TL866 II+

They are EXEL 8423  XL-S-2365-P-300  ATA0010SAC high   X00022

Since these are not EProms, I'm assuming these are ver 3.6. But I'd like to dump them just in case.

But I have third cart that will not fully boot.

Here are the bins for it. Can anyone one of you a lot smarter then me pro's out there figure this one out?

I'm hoping these are of some value to the comunity

Acation Bad OSLA rom.BIN Acation Bad OSLI rom.BIN
