Andromeda Stardust #26 Posted June 8, 2018 Hi Albert, Would these shells work? https://www.etsy.com/listing/583667863/atari-cartridge-only -Tom Yes they do. I tested it with an Asteroids. I plan on converting mine into a custom Harmony Encore enclosure. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rWMTz3CyYeg Ok, so I printed the case referenced above. Pro: It will work with a standard 7800 game Con: because of two of the screw placements, it will not fit the large Atari 7800 boards, or CPUWIZ' versa board... unless you dremel out the top two screw holes. At some point I will see if I can modify the mold to move those screw holes down. Rats. Will this fit a Harmony pcb? Ibought it with the intention of having a custom shell for my Harmony Encore, but I don't want to bust the label on mine if it won't fit.

But they are way too expensive to be considered a viable option for AtatiAge. Its cheaper to recycle old carts.

The Harmony board as well as most of AA's custom boards are much larger than a stock 2600 or 7800 PCB depending on how the chip layout and counts are done. Albert #39 Posted June 21, 2018 I can use those shells as long as they are in good, clean, still white condition (which is somewhat uncommon for these), with no scratches and permanent marking on the plastic. I can't use these for 7800 games, though. And these carts are fairly common, so I'll only give $2 in store credit for them (also, I don't have as big a need for them). Thanks, ..Al

groundtrooper #49 Posted August 2, 2018 I've always wondered, what happens to the PCB's in the games that are salvaged for cases? I have boxes full of them. I hear there is a landfill in New Mexico that used to LOVE those things. Not very environmentally responsible these days though.
