CV Burgertime malfunctions

I'm having some strange problems with my CV Burgertime cartridge.

The game loads up and goes to the blue select level screen. If I press

any of the buttons 1-8 the game resets and goes back to the boot up

screen. 9,0, # and * buttons have no effect nor the fire buttons.

Occasionally the screen will just go into some garbled orange

colours. I've never had a game crash like this one me. I've given

the cart a good cleaning with no effect. I havn't tried all my other

CV games but the 12 or so I've tried have worked fine. So I'm

begining to feel that my cart is bad. Until today I had never tried

it.
