+acadiel #1 Posted May 27, 2018 And the pictures are pretty amazing to look at. http://seanriddledecap.blogspot.com/2017/03/blog-post.html The "giant" ones are insanely large. You've been warned. More decaps: http://seanriddle.com/decap.html
Omega-TI #2 Posted May 27, 2018 WOW! I'll have to print that up! If it looks good, I'll frame it and put it on the wall in my den.

kl99 #4 Posted May 28, 2018 How does the logic differ from a standard eprom chip of 8K size?
matthew180 #5 Posted May 29, 2018 I did not realize Sean Riddle was doing decaps! Pretty cool. You can clearly see the internal address counter in the upper right, and what are probably the 8 data latches above the ROM area. I'm always keeping a look out for a decapped 9918A, so if anyone knows of anyone who has done the 9918A, please let me know.
fabrice montupet #6 Posted May 29, 2018 Beautiful ! @Klaus: The GROM has an internal auto incrementing address counter, the data and address bus are multiplexed.
