RayXambeR
Congrats for this conversion of Parsec. Love that game on TI99 at the time. Could you please list the additional things in the physical release in comparison with the v13 freeware? Thanks!
fluxit
The cart plays nicely on my 7800 and Retron 77. One small thing- if you want to share your score with someone, you'd better be quick. It's only displayed for ~20 seconds, and pause doesn't work on the end screen if you are using a 'real' 2600 compatible.

Good point though. One of the last things I put in was the timer at the end I should thought of the fact it would reset the score when it jumped back to the beginning. +hloberg
15 of the Parsec 2600 cartridges have sold! Only 10 more left! Don't miss out! HIGH SCORE. I want to know how far people are getting on this game so post your high score, PD version or cartridge, to this post. I never got beyond level 5 myself but I suck at video games. So POST YOUR HIGH SCORE!
+KaeruYojimbo
My best score so far is 53K. The score stays on screen long enough to take a picture if you have your phone/camera nearby. However, if you inadvertently lay the manual on top of your phone and it takes you about 17 realize you've done this, you will in all likelihood just miss getting a shot of your score. I'll take your word for it. Better then I ever did.
+hloberg
Some have asked the differences between the posted downloadable version of Parsec 2600 and the 1.6 purchased cartridge version. Cartridge version over the downloadable version: Bug fixes from the downloadable version to the cartridge version: Some cosmetic others functional. Biggest fixes are the PAUSE wasn't very consistent throughout the program. Some waves it worked, others not. Also RESET wasn't consistent. It would also, on occasion, crash the program. On the download version you had to use the EXPERT switch at start to invoke the 'choose level / ships' screen. I found this cumbersome so I set it up that all you needed to do was press the Joystick down at start to invoke that screen. The ending will jump back to the beginning after 20 seconds on the cartridge version. This is to confirm to Atari programming standard. The download version just kept on the scrolling colors screen. Fine tuned the speed up on the cartridge version a little. The downloadable version speeds up too fast for my taste. Some of the higher levels were also tweaked a bit to make them more playable. Lynxpro
Since the 2600 version is completed but you're working on a 7800 version, if you incorporated support for the AtariVox, it would be even more similar to the TI-99 4/A original. I know that's the one thing that about the original that makes it stand apart from Defender and Scramble in my book.
