SlidellMan
Talking about rare, peculiar, obscure, fascinating, and expensive. (Though there is much doubt on the latter existing in some form.) I wonder if anyone here has ever encountered these back in the day? (Let alone had one hooked up to their PC.)
CaptainBreakout
Yay... The NV1!!! nVidia's very humble beginnings. I thing there were a handful of games that supported it. I gave it a good look when I was looking at hardware for my retro contraption... But it was just too specialized and only had some really specific game support. Trying to make my rig work nativly (sort of) with Saturn controllers was tempting tho. Probably was a heart breaker tho, especially after seeing this vid. Thanks for it, and validation there. MrMaddog
That was a good video and I highly recommend LGR for interesting computer history. Had I been a Sega fanboy with a PC in the mid-90's, I would have gotten that card to play Virtua Fighter & Panzer Dragoon instead of a Saturn. (And later on a Voodoo card for other 3D games). Sega had a lot of games for the PC that made it a better choice IMHO...
MyPawnsEatPpl
I have one of these. The problem was that it did quad rendering (like the Sega Saturn) and it only supported Direct3D in software rendering mode. I remember using it for a long time just as a sound card along with a Voodoo 2.
towmater
How many Saturn games work with this? I read somewhere that it was only a few.
