Diamond Edge 3d and 3DO Sound Blaster cards

Recommended Posts

Yay... The NV1!!! nVidia's very humble beginnings.

I thing there were a handful of games that supported it. I gave it a good look when I was looking at hardware for my retro contraption... But it was just too specialized and only had some really specific game support.

Trying to make my rig work nativly (sort of) with Saturn controllers was tempting tho. Probably was a heart breaker tho, especially after seeing this vid. Thanks for it, and validation there.

That was a good video and I highly recommend LGR for interesting computer history.

Had I been a Sega fanboy with a PC in the mid-90's, I would have gotten that card to play Virtua Fighter & Panzer Dragoon instead of a Saturn. (And later on a Voodoo card for other 3D games).

Sega had a lot of games for the PC that made it a better choice IMHO...
