I have copies of many videos that I grabbed when they were first posted that have since been removed. They are residing safely on an external hard drive, and free from the threat of deletion because of copyright issues, the whims of the creator, or any other reason.  

I know, but 1) I can't download them after he deleted them 2) I don't want to take space on my association's server with every video I use on my website (maybe 50-60 videos every week). 😬

 

Once again, everyone does what he wants, but I just don't understand to need to remove old videos. It's not like YouTube limits the amount of videos you can have, at least afaik.
